A graduate of the University of Virginia, Trina began her career in advertising, working in both the United States and the Czech Republic. She received a Master of Business Administration in International Business through the University of South Carolina, in partnership with ESCP Europe in Paris where she worked with Cambridge Technology Partners as a digital strategy consultant while completing coursework.

She merged her business background and the experience of a youth well spent in classical ballet training to serve as Producer and Assistant Professor in the Department of Dance & Choreography at Virginia Commonwealth University School of the Arts. There Trina funded, promoted and produced the creative work of VCU Dance faculty, students and alumni. She managed department finances and grant writing, presented internationally renowned guest artists, taught the business of Dance Management, and was an advisor for senior thesis productions.

Her skill set has served her well as an independent marketing and development consultant working in New York, San Francisco and Charleston, with a portfolio of clients including Spoleto Festival USA, Condé Nast, DanceUSA, The Headhunters NYC, VCUarts, The Powell Economic Education Foundation, and The Depot, the nation’s second oldest youth center.

As Collegiate School’s Director of Economic Literacy and Entrepreneurship, Trina works to promote economic literacy and social entrepreneurship learning at Collegiate and throughout the metro Richmond area.
